The Lakewood Educational Foundation has been established as a separate and independent entity to promote educational opportunities within the Lakewood School District.  The Foundation is a private, non-profit, tax exempt organization which consists of a volunteer Board of Directors (Trustees) with representation from each community within the Lakewood School District.

The mission of the Lakewood Educational Foundation is to invest in the enrichment of the whole Lakewood School District. The Foundation is committed to raising and disbursing funds to support educational programs and activities for students in the Lakewood Public Schools which promote creative educational opportunities.
