The Lakewood Educational Foundation has been investing in the students of Lakewood Public Schools by providing the extras in education through classroom grants since 2003. As of the fall of 2009, over $110,000 has been awarded.

Lakewood Public Schools is a consolidated district
in Michigan encompassing four communities.
